SUPPORTING GOD'S MEN AND CHRIST'S CHURCH
WHO ARE WE?
Kevin Millard, Missionary in Brazil and Director of PSP

Kevin has been involved in pastoral ministry in Brazil and other Portuguese-speaking countries for 25 years. For several years the Lord has used him and his wife, Edineia, as a bridge to bring sound literature and biblical teaching to many pastors and leaders through the Adopt a Pastor program of Fiel Ministries Brazil. And now, through the PSP, the Lord is opening the door to allow Kevin to be more intentional and direct with specific needs and opportunities. With years of experience and many key relationships, they are excited about how God is going to use PSP!

Pastor Todd and the congregation he shepherds at Grace Covenant are an important part of the PSP. It was Todd who helped Kevin to develop the project, and Grace Covenant has agreed to host it. By hosting it, I mean that they will be the local church through which PSP donations will be received and sent out. Below is a personal word from Todd about PSP:
“We at Grace Covenant Baptist are thrilled that we are able to partner with Kevin to provide Portuguese-speaking pastors with resources to help them carry out the work of the gospel. I have known Kevin for many years and supported him, his family, and his ministry in Brazil for most of that time. In a recent visit to Brazil, the PSP Project came to fruition out of a discussion we had sitting on a park bench where Kevin’s burden was contagious. My prayer is that it will go far beyond that little park in Brazil. I thank you for considering this much needed endeavor.”
For the time being Todd and Kevin decide on how PSP donations are distributed until a ministry board is formed. We now have several donors and two supported pastors, who also serve on the PSP ministry team: Samuel Quimputo and Pascoal Mapaxi.

The focus of the PSP is to support men and ministry projects in Portuguese-speaking countries. Our first supported pastor is Samuel Quimputo, a native Angolan. Samuel has 25 years of experience in pastoral ministry, preaching, teaching, lecturing and conference speaking. In fact, Samuel was a key motivating factor in the birth of the PSP project, where he is now serving as the PSP Director of Pastoral Training. He was the main speaker at our first PSP Encounter for Pastors and Leaders in Luanda, Angola, that was held in September of 2023. He was also a speaker at two conferences for pastors in Mozambique in 2023, along with being the key speaker at a conference in Guinea-Bissau. Samuel is a gifted communicator and has a heart for pastoring pastors! He resides with his family in Portugal and is presently the Pastor at the Evangelical Church in Seixal.

Pascoal Mapaxi, Pastor and PSP Coordinator of Events in Angola

Pastor Mapaxi serves as the Senior Pastor of the Reformed Baptist Church in Luanda, and
also as the Director of the Reformed Baptist Bible Institute of Angola. PSP has partnered with the Institute since its inception in 2023. Pastor Mapaxi is supported by PSP and recently joined our PSP ministry team in Angola as Events Coordinator. He is married to Faustina and has a young daughter, Carolina.

Delman Chandamissa, PSP General Coordinator in Angola

Brother Delman and his family have been a tremendous blessing to the PSP Project and our ministry events since we began. In fact, we have known Delman for several years and even stayed in his home. PSP would not have had the success we have seen in Angola without this dear servant's help. He and his family serve with us on a volunteer basis, and he was recently given the title PSP General Coordinator, because he does it so well. He and his wife, Gisela, have four children and reside in the capital, Luanda.

OUR PURPOSE
To glorify God by helping Portuguese-speaking pastors and leaders to learn about the Doctrines of Grace, to preach and teach a biblical gospel, and to plant and pastor healthy local churches.
OUR CONFESSION OF FAITH
We hold to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith
OUR VISION
Our vision is for God to use the PSP to build up His church in the Portuguese-speaking world through sound preaching and teaching, the planting and revitalization of local churches, and the training of biblically qualified men.
